Started in 2005 and in true Italian style finished
beginning August 2007. Villa Vesta is made up of 6 Lamia
(flat roofed rectangle buildings). Built on the site
of an existing shepherd's hut, the area is approximately
3 hectares in size. It is rich in olive and almond trees
and bounded by the beautiful and typical dry stone walling.
Unique vision by the Austro-Italian designer-architect
and builder (Bettina Marksteiner) has produced what
you see today, a villa with modern, light internal spaces,
a fantastic out door entertainment area and a lovely
pool.
The Masseria (villa) has been opened out to provide
large living and kitchen/dining areas, while keeping
the traditional stone ceilings and archways, a particularly
beautiful feature of the house
